I don’t think it will be the same mess Flybe was, it’s a new management team and they’ll be offering a slightly different product, mostly feeder flights to Manchester and Heathrow under the virgin brand, I’m sure it will be less like Flybe and more like Virgin little red

The announcement of a new aircraft order didn't come. They'll be keeping the same old planes with the same frontline staff. It is hard to be optimistic.

There was rumour of the A220, virgin are strong on brand, and the new CEO is a virgin head, he should keep things working more smoothly than Flybe have, here’s hoping

Virgin tried to run short haul before (Viscounts!!) didn't really work out

When they won the slots in LHR after the BA/BMI takeover, they had to sub out to EI (EI had bid for the slots themselves and you can bet EI would have made a better run of it)

Could get interesting as EI carry an awful lot of Virgin passengers to MAN, LHR and LGW (and hence have a huge insight into demand from Dublin to places like Vegas)
