Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello Gentlemen,

Being based in Dundalk, what are some good pike fishing places in around the area? I'm driving sometimes to Carrickmacross area, with Monalty being the best pike fishing lake but I get tired of going to the same places. Any good lakes or rivers near Dundalk or Drogheda area? Question to more experienced anglers, how effective is pike fishing in rivers vs lakes? I was considering River Boyne but can't find any data on pikes in the river. Would you find any pikes in small rivers like Dee or Glyde that end in Annagassan, now that the shallow water has well cooled down?
