Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi ,firstly I realise my mistake was using address pal,but I ordered a 10 euro garden tool from aliexpress and used my address pal as delivery to UK is fast from China, but I got nabbed for vat,no issue still but when I looked to pay it, they deemed my item to be worth 26,87 and I had to pay vat on that, why did they not go by the value?
I have seen this item on Instagram and it is been sold by a pop up store for 35 euro, and I thought I bet its on aliexpress, and I'll save,so many of these stores are buying from there and upping price, now with the higher value I haven't saved much at all.

My question is how can they decide its worth more, surely vat is on what you spent?

In Ireland you could receive an email with question about value. Who asked you to pay? Postpal?
