Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thanks for the link. I threw a few quid on KO round 2. Suppose it was far enough away. I like Gassiev

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,908 ✭✭✭Morrison J

Yeah nothing to read into that fight but do think Gassiev can be a problem at heavyweight. Huge puncher and plenty in the division won't be able to take his pressure.

    10/11 within 6 was very generous .

Best thing about this and some other women’s fights? 2 minute rounds!

I think you massively overrate him..

Gassiev looks nice and solid at 230lbs

We will see in time. Hardly a tough division he's going into though. Could argue cruiserweight was tougher.

Hope Lee Selby gets banjoed tonight

    Like watching paint dry him..

God forbid he wins, and he fights Teo next... he’ll get destroyed..

I think he could cause plenty of the big lads problems. He hits hard. It’s all about how he takes a hit. Same as Olexander. I’ve punted for Usyk in either round 9 or 10 so I’m saying that nice and early.

No, likely he doesn’t get banjoed..

    But he would v Teo!

Women’s boxing flying. I think that was just the PC line they’re peddling. It’s awful.

Without a doubt. Tonight I’d say loss on pints fairly wide if judges are honest.

Thank fùck that’s over, pure scutter. I know it’s bad but I find it hard to watch any women’s boxing that doesn’t feature Katie.

The depth of talent just doesn't seem to be there in the womens divisions - it's going to take years for it to build (if it ever does!).

    Yes.

I know you can only beat what is front of you, but the competition she has faced looked really weak. Some, dreadful!

The only decent well matched fight on the card this. Think Selby might be able to sneak it but should be close.

Are there any boxers left without these manky tattoos?!

I think Selby will edge him out

ffs, I saw the small lad with the smeg jogging towards the ring and I said "jaysus, Usyk looks really small". I am an embarrassment.

Also I backed Chisora at 4/1. So there may be further embarrassment tonight.

    Kambosos looks very small.

Can't imagine either of these two giving Lopez much trouble

They should chuck the winner in with Anthony Crolla for a final final eliminator.

    Agreed.

I think Whyte can win on points or stoppage.

    AP really only via KO-stoppage!

I think Pov will do it again. Whyte's only advantage is being a big lump with long arms.
