Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I do. My dad told the absolute best bedtime stories :)

    But they weren't scarey stories.

Do you like a scare at bedtime?

Spring runs February-April is what I learned in primary school. Although February general seems 'wintrier' than November to me...

No - simply because my dancing skills are so bad that many years ago at Irish dancing class - I was told to sit down and not get up again :pac:

I highly doubt it, but have never tested it with someone musically knowledgeable.

Who do you think is the best James Bond?

Sean Connery or Timothy Dalton. Very hard to choose between the two so I'll give it to them both jointly. James bond is past its sell by date now I am not remotely interested in any of the new ones.

Are you in danger of becoming a grumpy old man or woman

I think it's when you cheat on your partner because they have done the same to you. Maybe.

What are your feelings on revenge?

  • Registered Users Posts: 270 ✭✭beerguts

Poisonous for the soul. But if someone hurt be badly in an emotional way I could see myself seeking revenge. I suppose it is a human trait to lash out at someone who has hurt you.

Do you think the new Irish generation about to hit adulthood lack emotional toughness

Nah....they said same about mine, and its mostly older generations, who were most vocal againest milienials who cant handle isolation or bare infringement caused by restrictions......dont see too many u45 at anti mask/anti lockdown rallies.....

Next generation are going to get on fine and likely in a better place to handle setbacks mentally than any gone before them
