Skiing/Snowboarding

    I'm going to bulgaria in febuary for a ski trip. Just trying to figure out with I go with ski's or a board.

    I've googled the ****e out of it and the only thing that comes back is skiing you go faster, snowboarding you break more bones.

    I guess I'm asking why snowboard if its slower and easier to hurt yourself. There's gotta be something else to it?

    Skiing involves less falling over on your backside when learning in the first weeks. Once you've got the basics of either though you'll get down more difficult runs, badly, but get down them, on a board before you would even attempt them on skis from the same amount of time learning. Boarders get to wear sillyer clothes and show off more. Skiing is faster though.

    Oh, and you'll find more people over in the wintersports forum these days.
