Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Amazon.co.uk tells you beforehand if extra charges apply I think?

But what's the story with other sites like LaptopsDirect who are UK based?

Will my goods be held up at customs?

We do not expect there to be any hold up of your goods at customs.

Will I have to pay customs duty?

No, all duty is included in our price so there are no additional charges.

For other sites, you check the sites.

Some are set up to knock off UK VAT on exports, some are not.
Some are set up to collect Irish VAT and Customs Duty at the checkout, some are not.

Look in the FAQs to see what they say about EU deliveries. If they do things right, they'll mention it.

Double check everything in on your Confirm page before submitting the order. If you're being charged UK VAT (20%), it's a sure sign you'll be paying more before delivery.
