Had a watch of this and was amazed at the amount of people required to build the car as opposed to robots. If those jigs and presses and casts were still in existence what a nice little business it would be building replicas from scratch.
Although there is a Norwegian company building all the E30 M3 specific panels in metal to a very high standard and you can get carbon panels for nearly all of the car aswell. S14 ngines are another story you cant get hold of many of those these days.

Video is in german but that doesn't matter.

What a car. I cannot warm to the more modern M3s. They have gone so big and heavy.

I could easily daily drive the E30 M3 . Something about it that makes it such a nice place to be. I did daily drive an E30 325 sport for 4 or 5 years and that is a nice place to be also but the M3 handles better and while not much quicker in a straight line, the 4 cyl above 4000 rpm is raw.

Modern BM's or any modern car really do their job very well but they lack any character whatsoever too much computer interference.
