Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Looking for some recommendations, bear in mind I know nothing about jazz :D

    I was recommended not too long ago, on the music forum, an album by Bill Evans and Jim Hall, Undercurrent. Really really enjoyed it. Haven listened to some other stuff by those two lads and enjoyed it as well.

    So just looking for some recommendation for similar stuff to the above. I'd tried some John Coltrane but didn't like it as much, so I suppose I'm looking for more chilled out sorta stuff.

    Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    Like yourself I've barely dipped my toe into jazz but what I've liked so far for chilled out vibes is Charles Mingus. 'Kind of Blue' by Miles David is a classic for a good reason, also Charlie Parker. Django Reinhard is great jazz guitar (he only had two working fingers!)

    Saw an Irish band on Culture Night called The Tolka Hot Club, they do gigs around Dublin sometimes, really good!
