When do Irish Rail fare increases come in effect?

    I usually buy a Day Return for €11.70.

    I don't know when this is due to increase or by how much?

    Anyone know how to work it out, any of the links just seem to list the Dublin zones for bus/dart/luas etc.

    Not until at least December 1st.

    Per the NTA Fare Determination report, that Intercity fare will rise to €11.80 or may stay the same, depending on the route.

    Oh that's great to know. I asked an Irish Rail staff member when I was at the station last week and he said 'probably next week but don't know yet'. :cool:
