Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ive been parking my bike at Clonsilla Railway Station for the past month and it was unfort stolen during the week. Raging..It had two sturdy locks on it and I dont know how the thief managed to cut through them unless they carried some sort of weapon to ply through the locks..
CCTV is apparently in operation...guards were involved but i know nothing will come from it..

    be careful....

Bike 'ownership' is a theoretical concept in Dublin. Sorry, you had yours stolen.

Sorry to hear that. Out of interest, how sturdy were the locks? And what locks did you use?

A guy I used to work with had his bike stolen from right outside our office before. Similar story - very sturdy locks, expensive bike.

He was sitting at the window so would have had a clear view of anything going on out the window.. ironically it was taken during lunch hour when he wasnt around

He never got it back, but thankfully it was covered under his house insurance so he was able to get a new one.

He reckons that he was spotted with his bike, and basically it was robbed to order.

They cut the lock free from the bike rather than the other way around? Must have been a very good lock!
