Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Finally got the Yaris interior cleaned up. There's clearly 160k of wear and tear, particularly on the carpet :pac: but it's so nice to see it clean. [...]

The carpet indeed is in miserable condition. I have a set of genuine front mats I got from Mr T a couple of years ago, claiming to be for avensis, but after Ms jou gave them to her son, he discovered they're way too small for an avensis, so they're maybe for yaris (have no part number, so cannot check).

Anyway, if you want them, I can give them away for free. Will pm you some photos + dimensions tomorrow if you're interested.

By the way - them alloys look pretty nice, what size are they?

That'd be awesome jou.. i'd only take them if I were to keep the car, it'd be kind of wateful if I was flipping it on.

They are an original Toyota wheel just missing centre caps. They are 14", with 185/65 tyres.

Japanese plates are registered to the driver and they move from car to car.

Edit: or maybe not, could have sworn it but I can't back it up with anything online. :o

It's not the one! The one I was thinking of was black...3.0 auto and had the nastiest cloth seats imaginable in it! Im guessing yellow anyway :D

The adventures of the mighty Puglet continue. Seen here crossing over the top of Molls Gap on Sunday, the smiles say a lot about the wee yoke. She may be about 55BHP but by god it was a fun day out doing 3 or 4 proper Rally stages in it. I've owned and driven many more powerfull cars but this is the best craic I've ever had out a twisty back road. Although, the smiles could also be relief that it hadn't actually broken :D For all the good times, a healthy dose of reminders of French akwardness are never far away. Had noticed a few weeks ago that the handbrake was only catching on one side and giving an odd tri-pod effect on hills, and knew it would be a straight fail in the test and so deceided to get it sorted. Relief all round when the problem was just brake shoe adjusters that were shot, only to be fairly blown back by the 9 day wait for parts to arrive from France. Joys of it. All well again, take her out for a spin, bit of a blast and then coming up to a junction the front brakes go. Back into the garage and a snapped clip on a brake line replaced and away we go again, untill the next day we have an exhaust heatshield running along the ground. Just another hurdle I guess.

She's now 6 days problem free, and it absolutely flew the NCT on Friday without a single advisory, so theres life in the old girl yet, but by god its hard work. Still, wouldnt have it any other way :D:D:D

Cian saw your car in the metal a few weeks back when voting. The car stood out to me, knew it was some on here. Really nice, clean looking car for its age.

Nice touch with the rally stickers on the back.

    Unfortunately not.

You would have saw me if you drove by though. I was the lad in the Focus which was making people deaf with the noises it makes :pac: The gasket squeal is just awful.

I was there at about 11 pm :)
