A word of warning, no talk about obvious illegal apps/websites. We all know who/what/where and if you don't, here isn't the place to ask or answer.

sony crackle or pluto TV have a lot of free stuff (VPN required). If you have an amazon account setup for US, they have a good bit there free too compared with UK.

Apple plus TV have a few shows free for the next month or so. The app is available on Firestick. No VPN required

HBO also have a few decent shows for free including the Sopranos. Again this is for a month or so. VPN or smart DNS required

Probably not what you had in mind when you started the thread but PornHub premium is free during the crisis. Or so I've been told :)

Actually Google said they had Golden showers and thought these might be suitable for my business.

    I was wrong. :(

I'm watching The Line of Duty on the BBC iPlayer.

The service is totally free but you will need a VPN to view from the Republic.

My Amazon Prime is for Ireland.
How could I set it to US? Please guide me.

Do you pay double for 2 different Prime accounts?

Could you please suggest a VPN?

I'm using express VPN. It's a bit pricey though but it's been fairly faultless and the one time I did have an issue the support team were very helpful.

No. My us one is just a regular one but I found I never watched UK prime and there's a lot free on UK reg Vs pay UK.

    Cool.
I didn't even know that regular USA version has videos included. What about US address? How do we obtain one?

Not all VPN’s work and those that do are detected quite often because the site gets hit with the same ip by loads of people

    Get a smart dns

Any links, is there a fee for smart Dns, I have a freedome VPN but it is no good for BBC.

Lots of tacky stuff. Couple with crackle and Pluto under a Vpn and the interface nicely takes you to whichever has the free version.

Good stuff OP... Might help someone out, fair play.

The irony of this is that the RTE Player the one that almost every house in the country is obliged to pay for, is the one of those that is absolutely unwatchable, but that's for another thread.

Anyone looking for VPN, I recommend Hideaway from Firetrust ( the creators of Mailwasher) - they're offering it free until end of May.

Works with iPlayer, haven't tried any US links.

Not sure if it works on tablets, I use it on my PC.

On my 4k Firestick, with smart dns proxy, in the amazon app store popcornflix fawesome.tv movies, filmrise and using filelinked tubi, vudu(some *free* movies & TV shows with ads) and all the uk players iPlayer, itv hub, my5, uktv play & USA players with some free content.
Slingtv in the USA were offering 14 days free TV but not sure if that offer is finished or not

Just to elaborate on a few bits and bobs:

    YouTube Premium
I was under the impression that Google had decided to make all its content free (but ad supported) from last September, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. The only show that I find thats currently free is "Impulse", but would recommend it. Based in the same world as the movie "Jumper", but miles better. There are currently two seasons.

    All4
Its free movies are always in rotation, so worth checking back every now and then. A selection of whats currently showing that I'd recommend:
The Decent, The Motorcycle Diaries, Trainspotting, Bumblebee and Assault on Precinct 13 (original).

    For TV shows I'd recommend:
Anime - Black Dynamite, Venture Bros, Cowboy Bebop, Primal
Comedy - The Other Two, Inbetweeners, Derry Girls, Catastrophe, Community
Drama - Baghdad Central, Catch 22, Humans, ER, The Sheild, Damages, Crazyhead

I have an M8S android box. But it doesn't seem to be downloading Express VPN.
I thought of resetting the box but there is no reset button.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

how do you think Smart DNS works? It's just a different type of VPN, they're still routing every user's traffic through a small set of IP addresses, and it can still be detected and blocked.
