Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Modern Uses for the Enigma Machine

    Hi

I was just wondering what your thoughts are on the world war two enigma machine. I finished reading a book about it last month and I decided to search for an emulator online. There's quite a few and I downloaded one from the google play store. I tested it out and it has quite a few options for encrypting messages. The obvious difference between this app and the real thing is that there is a space bar included on the app.

What I would like to now is if these messages can be decrypted by real life computers and if the machine has any modern purposes?
