Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting an airlock about the 9min mark would be the start of a bad evening..

He was going to perform the stunt on O'Connell Street, but he had no FAS Safety Pass, hardhat or hi-vis. Would have been too dangerous without them!

:) Dont' forget the eye protection and you will now need to wear gloves, and if you deliver the machine to O'Connell St. you will need to have done your CPC days (and don't forget to switch on your digital tacho to record the journey) Also O'Connell St has restricted access so you may need a permit!

Ye missed a a few other bits.

There's also the course in how to put all the cones, safety lights and warning signs in the right places.

The taxi drivers have to now do a course on the specific area before they're allowed to pick up or set down in it, how long before they do the same to delivery drivers.

Oh yes, make sure that your medical certification for anything larger than Class B on your driving licence is up to date, and also that your eye sight test is valid.

Then there's the question of the legality of using green diesel in the machine, as it's (sort of ) operating on a public highway.

Was it delivered by an HGV or did it come on a trailer pulled by a tractor, as that's another bone of contention.

At least we can be sure that there's no issues with tyre tread depth on that machine:D

Oh Yeah, you'd better also check that it doesn't need an aviation hazard warning light on it so that someone doesn't fly into it, and if there will be more than (If I remember correctly) 500 people watching, you'll need to tell the aviation authorities, as it's illegal for an aircraft to fly below 500 Ft close to that crowd once you go above that number.

The list is endless, I' ve not even mentioned working time directives, and related issues about rest periods, and the like.

A few weeks ago, a friend sent me the following:-

    Pythagorean theorem: 24 words
    Lord's prayer: 66 words
    Archimedes' Principle: 67 words
    Ten Commandments: 179 words
    Gettysburg address: 286 words
US Declaration of Independence: 1,300 words
US Constitution with all 27 Amendments: 7,818 words

EU regulations on the sale of cabbage: 26,911 words

Maybe, just maybe, we've become just a little over regulated in areas that really don't matter, and under regulated in areas that are now clearly deficient!!!!!!:p;):P:mad:

Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁
