Well I do speak Irish but can't see the point of having this board. I don't remember it being a huge request and I'm sure there are other subjects alot more relevant.

Well logic I guess this board is for the people who need thier Irish homework done for them, in the same way the programming board works.

Níl an board programming ansin chun obair bhaile amháin - tá sé ansin chun na daoine (mar mise is docha) ba mhaith leo beidh nios fearr ná na daoine eile...

Ok- my Irish is a wee bit sketchy - what I mean by the above is:

"A new board solely for the Irish language? Excellent!

But I think I put the question to the boards at one stage whether anyone would want such a board - no-one did at that time, - what's changed?

For those of you who don't seem to like Irish and therefore presumeably haven't a clue what I just said:
I think it's a great idea. There aren't enough places online for people who enjoy speaking and want to use it regularly. Since I left school I haven't been able to find anywhere where I can have a conversation in Irish, and I'll be back here often I promise you.
One other thing, if you hate irish so much, and want this board to die, why do you come here?
