Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I picked up Fergal Keane's War of Independence / Civil War book 'Wounds' in Dubray Books for €10, down from €16.99. I have not read it yet but it has received excellent reviews.

This website is a great tool for accessing free books on Irish history (of all types) and genealogy sources. It seems to be a work in progress as new material keeps appearing.

Get most of my books from charity shops. Conrad Black's book on Roosevelt and William Shawcross' Queen Elizabeth both for E1 each. Both hardbacks and both big books. Couldn't believe it.
