Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bus Eireann pick up / drop off only stops

    Whats the story with the pick up or drop off only stops with Bus Eireann? Say you're travelling from A to B. Somebody at B wants to get on the bus, and stops it. I want to get off at B. What difference does it make if I get off? The bus stops anyway.

    The buses are longer distance buses and are not supposed to pick up at say busaras poeple who are only going to the Airport or Lucan or Maynooth etc. otherwise the seats would be taken up by people only going down the road leaving people going longer distances behind when the shorter journeys are served by Dublin Bus or dart etc.

    It'd be a breach of their route licence - reasons as to why are given in the previous post.

    It does create some oddities - you can't buy a ticket from a further away place to an outer suburb pickup only stop via busaras and are forced to change operator, despite BE serving there.
