Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Travelling as a non-white person to Asia?

So next year in July, my mother will be travelling to China, India, South Korea, and Japan. She's not white (black African).

I've heard a few mixed things about travelling while black. Some say they are surprised to see black people but the most they'll do is just stare at you whereas I've heard they can be quite hostile and shout racial slurs, not allow you into restauran.

    What is the truth?

Get on the plain of she can and off she goes.
I'm white and get called gringo in South America or joe in Asia.

Thought you're family was in debt and have money problems?

Maybe they would be better off paying for you to go to hospital for treatment rather than a joly to Asia
