Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Parking for student in Galway

My daughter will hopefully be starting in NUIG in September. We live a long way away, it would require a bus to Dublin and then another to Galway to get there so she had intended to drive. Her accommodation has no parking. The problem is where does she park the car. She wont really need it during the week as she intends to…

My daughter will hopefully be starting in NUIG in September. We live a long way away, it would require a bus to Dublin and then another to Galway to get there so she had intended to drive. Her accommodation has no parking. The problem is where does she park the car. She wont really need it during the week as she intends to walk to college. Even a long stay Council car park will cost €5 a day which adds alot on to her costs. Anyone on here know what others do or have any bright ideas? I presume you cannot park over night in the NUIG park and ride?
