Mortgage direct debit query

    Hi, this is a simple one.

    I recently drew down a BOI mortgage. I want to find out when my first mortgage payment will be debited. On the mandate, I put 2nd of each month but so far nothing has been taken.

    Can someone check for me? I can't get through on the phone whenever I call the mortgage specialists. The service desk also wouldn't / couldn't answer my query.

    Hi, thanks. I have tried calling them but it just keeps me on hold forever, I don't have unlimited calls so I have to keep topping up every time i call them.

    Is there any other way?

    Thanks for getting back in touch with us here. 

    You can also certainly call into any of our branches with photo ID and use one of the phones we have available.

    Boi kindly didnt debit my account for around 5 weeks with the first mortgage payment so that's possibly it. I noted I owed more than drawn down for a short time

    Yeah I got my answer in the end and pretty much as you say. To be fair to them they have been great throughout the whole process.
