Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Could go on but no guarantee of quality. I mean how can they expect to top Beebo?

    Praise Beebo!
Yeah Beebo could have been as big as Baby Yoda if on a different Network and show. Honestly, if the DC shows on HBO Max do well , Warners could end the shows on the CW or move some to Max but with bigger budgets. I could see Flash end at Season 8 followed by Legends. I think any future DC show should just be on HBO Max as streaming is where everything seems to be going anyway.

I'm sure someone would've noticed about Gary before now.

And not one of Bowie's better songs.

So glad to have the Legends back, that was a lot fun.

Have we not seen Gary take his glasses off before though? I can't remember, but surely during some fight or the amount of time he gets thrown across a room his glasses have fallen off before... Not that I really care, this is the one show where that sort of ret-conning wouldn't bother me, I'm just curious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,673 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

Gotta admit I was confused by this episode - when was it found out Gary was an alien?
Feels like I've missed an episode somewhere along the way

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,191 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

They tell you by showing the chrysalis in the bedroom and the box with the glasses that turns the wearer into Gary.

Assuming he somehow used to have a human body for a bit , but reverted back to his alien one ( hence the crysalisis) and has the glasses now as a back up.

That'll do for me, happy to make that leap, and settle for that handy Deux Ex Machina as a reasonable and logical explanation... :D

Maybe it was when he got his nipple bitten off?

I was just gonna blame the crisis.
Besides everyone knows aliens look human when wearing glasses. Look at Superman

It's also likely Barry Allen's fault, with all his time travelling shenanigans. :pac:

    Or Brainy and Nia's fault

The CW just announced that there will be an animated Beebo christmas special
First up is Beebo Saves Christmas, a one-hour animated adventure in which “everyone’s favorite fuzzy toy turned furry god [from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow] will once again be a hero as he hopes to save Christmas. When Sprinkles, an efficiency-obsessed elf, decides that Christmas would run better without Santa Claus, Beebo and his friends travel to the North Pole to help discover what truly makes Christmas meaningful.”

Beebo Saves Christmas‘ voice cast includes Ben Diskin as Beebo, Kimiko Glenn as Tweebo, Yvette Nicole Brown as Turbo, Keith Ferguson as Fleabo, Chris Kattan as Sprinkles, Ernie Hudson as Santa and Victor Garber as the narrator.

Legends is also moving to Wednesday nights alongside Batwoman

Great episode this week Jhe Guevara had me in stitches the brain trust was funny too Nate was great, Mick was the best part again though old school Heatwave vibes.

I would be surprised if they don't get a toy range out in time for Christmas, or they're losing out big time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,191 ✭✭✭✭RobbingBandit

I want a Fleabo what kid big or small wouldn't:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,107 ✭✭✭EoinMcLovin

Man that was a crazy twist at the end

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,290 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I don't like when they do that
Basically they killed off a major character and didn't reveal it until later. The same thing happened in Lost. It's a twist but how are we meant to feel when the character has been seemingly alive the whole time?

    Yeah like is

Is Ava still Ava? Sara is still Sara and who knows she may still be really alive with that a fake to unnerve her

    I can Digg that. :D

Even though it's not Dig hopefully it's a better cameo for Ramsey than the pointless one in Batwoman

If this was a serious show I would be p!ssed off that we were left with a clone. Sure ava is a clone, but the same clone has all the interactions with the crew so didnt matter.

Note that there is spoilers for the rest of the season in the above video.

Matt Ryan will be back as a series regular for Season 7… but as a different character!

While John Constantine’s arc on the show is coming to an end in Season 6, Matt Ryan’s journey with the Legends is not over,” executive producer Phil Klemmer revealed during the Q&A.

Ryan will next take on the role of Dr. Gwyn Davies, an eccentric scientist from the early 20th century who might be the team’s only hope next season.

Amy Louise Pemberton — who has voiced the Waverider AI’s Gideon as a series regular for the past six years — will portray a flesh-and-blood version of Gideon in the real world in Season 7.

Anyone remember when this show was unmissable? This season is a dreary mess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Yup just like the rest of the Arrowverse it has run out of steam.

Superman needs to be the only one left standing now and I really feel that needs to stay away from the Arrowverse and move from CW to HBOMax.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55,535 ✭✭✭✭Mr E

A cracking finale in fairness. Very enjoyable. The ending was great too.

Doesn't erase a shite season though!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Cracking ending to a very weal season, Not much life left in the Arrowverse now.

Time to wind it down fully I think.

Yeah, I think Legends and Flash have run their course and hopefully end next season along with Batwoman. That leaves Superman and Lois , Stargirl and Naomi.

Also season 7 starts on October 13th so we're not having to wait more than 6 months between seasons

Oh lordy - didn't think much of that finale. The whole show has gone very campy pantomime

And like Eoin said even the Flash has run out of ideas for decent stories or rather bringing the stories to life - but I think Flash is done for me anyway, so many unlikeable characters now

At least Superman and Louis didn't disappoint in the first season

They need to go more gritty with their shows like The 100 was

Hey guys... is this the same show?

Such a massive massive improvement over the last season. The fun factor is back!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,290 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

    The biggest question is

What was causing that annoying beam of light at the end. 😛 Always nice to see physical Gideon, but have Astra and Spooner seen her before?

I agree it was a more fun episode and that's probably down to the lack of the more serious, dark Constantine and even Astra seems to have lightened up a bit. hope they keep the fun factor up.

    100 episodes in 100 seconds

That was a pretty good episode and nice seeing all the old characters returning

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 60,886 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

That was fun and damn Gideon can sing.

No Hawkgirl. I understand why Mick didn't turn up.

    But did really enjoy it.

Though not a fan of the bad guy. Thought we were done with him.
