How do you think the company is handling this

Hi Guys
I have worked for a company for over 5 years
I was involved in an incident
Where a member of staff accused me of assault
Let me be clear this did not happen
The company say they had a witness
But i knew they did not
I asked to see the cctv footage of the time
As it would show this witness was not were he claimed to be and could not have seen the altercation
I have been sacked but asked for Cctv throughout the process and it is on record
I asked before they sack me can i see it
They agreed but then just sent me a letter saying i was still sacked no mention of the cctv
Then i appealed on the sacking stating the cctv.
I was called back to work for meeting
Where they should me
A phone recording a security screen monitor
With the minutes i stated i wanted to see to prove me correct were not there
And was told they deleted.
I wasnt shown original footage and the time frame i asked for was deleted
Im being stitched up cause i was not liked
Can a company delete critical evidence that would validate my version of events
Not show it to me all the way over a 3 month process and then sack me
Then show a non original tape with. The part missing to show real events.
I am sick to my stomach can a company get awsy with this.
They have to be held accountable do they ?
