Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well Water

We have a 200ft well near our house that was bored about 13 years ago. Over the last few months we've had issues whereby the quality of the water coming out before and after treatment (CR100 for Iron/Manganese and dosing for pH) has dropped in quality at seemingly random intervals. It could be fine for days then suddenly go cloudy dark brownish reddish.

We had it tested when it was bad and Iron was 18ppm. Our water treatment is only meant to work up to 10ppm. We've started to notice that it commonly happens within a day of raining. If it hasn't rained for a few days it's all clear but a day after raining it goes bad. So something is wrong with the well?

What are my options here? Just drill a new well? Or maybe it's just coincidence with the rain and the pump is on its way out?
