Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That child hasn't a hope in life now.
Of course he doesn't but when he's pushing 30 with a string of convictions, having left school at 14 and claiming disability due to his alcoholism, it will be the fault of settled people because of our discrimination towards Travellers  At least that's the narrative Pavee Point and RTE will be pushing ;) His missus will also be looking for a forever home to house the seven kids he can't provide for because he's in and out of jail. It's unbelievably sad that this is our predictions for a 4 year old child.

Not a chance. The BBC doesn't make documentaries painting them as martyrs like RTE does and the authorities seem to just ignore them. This is the same UK that arrests people for posts on twitter but let a trafficking ring work with impunity for years for fear of being labelled racist. They don't care about Travellers either way. Look at how those fools behaved in New Zealand. They genuinely couldn't understand why the Kiwi's took such offence to their behaviour. They're so used to getting away with it in the UK that being pulled up on it was a shock to the system.

Well done. What information did you give? What information did they require from you? Will you let us know how that goes?

I gave them my last details from living in Ireland (Not for 11+ years now) and my current phone number. I have no idea why they would need to know my address and occupation- guess full time mad b*stard or stay at home mammy to 5 angles would be enough for most :D

All details were readily available online, between Facebook and news articles on the brave fellas arrests. One for domestic violence gave me all his address info I believe- found it all in 5 minutes, guessed the age and school of the child but as for details of the incident I linked the videos from here. Whoever watches it is as much of a witness to it as I am.

I got hang up call from Westmeath yesterday at about 15:30. Creepy.

Where are all the bleeding hearts on Facebook now?

Why isn't this video being spread about to highlight this poor child?

If it was a video that allowed people to have a dig at the government, or their local GP or local supermarket, it would be shared tens of thousands of times.

Even the mob are afraid of being accused of racism.

Yeah, it's bad when a special unit has been set up. I bet that they will be deported and then it's our problem.

They have their own recognised ethnicity but if you describe what someone from that ethnicity looks like you're a very evil person!

Just to add. You know the way non Muslims say that Muslims should call out terrorists and distance themselves? I'd be happy as an Irish person to call out and distance myself from our ethnic friends ;) They fought so hard to get their special status that recognises them as "distinct" from the rest of the Irish population and this should be acknowledged where ever they go in the world. If they are terrorising elderly people in Australia, I will happily admit that.

Unfortunately we know it doesn't work like that. If we call them out, we are "racist"

They look white because they are white and the same race as us. John Connors looks just like any other Irish person. They look like us but there are subtle differences in how they speak/act that sets them apart. It's hard to explain but if you interact with Travellers enough you can tell.

I dunno I reckon you can tell many Travellers just by looks alone. That's what generations of inbreeding within a shallow gene pool will do. Somehow that makes a separate ethnicity too but sure that decision was made for us.

That's the thing, I don't. Any video I seen, they were covered up. Even the names looked unfamiliar to traveller surnames. It was a presumption based on me saying perhaps.

You can also spot them by them going around wearing a pair of shorts with a matching lagging jacket. Hair slicked back using a full tub of gel.

So many instances of scamming, theft (Hi Mags) and assorted other anti social behavior concerning travellers that we almost automatically assume they are involved in a case like this.

They need to clean up their act (in every sense) but just won't.
