I'm looking advice for a sim to add to my alarm system.
It just needs to be on to send infrequent texts and thats about it, so PAYG sounds like the way to go, unsure though of which service needs the least frequent top-ups so is cheapest to just stay connected.
    Any advice?

I’m on meteor PAYG. Needs €5 topped up every couple of months. I can’t seem to catch the rhythm of it. Some times it’s 3 months, other times, I’ll 5 months between top ups.

Are you using a HKC alarm?

Using an Ajax alarm system, or will be when i install it this Easter to replace the Yale one. Got a Things Mobile sim in the end as it ticked the right boxes.

Any issues with the SIM from TM? I got one for a GSM smart plug, but although it will send a text it will not receive one - tried in several different phones, same story. Shame, as it should be exactly what I needed.
