Despite the green loonies and their morbid fascination with Global Warming and taxation policies arising therefrom it turns out that the latest climate scare was caused by too much cold.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15105747
The cause was an unusually long spell of cold weather at altitude. In cold conditions, the chlorine chemicals that destroy ozone are at their most active.

So ...Like...Global Cooling is the big problem..is that not right ????

Turn on the feckin carbon lads :)

Your confusing 2 different issues - ozone depletion has nothing to do with the climate change debate. The former is an accepted and proven scientific fact, while there is still some debate on the latter.

Sadly I am not confusing anything, if a sloth farts in a tree there will be some global warming spin added before we can even smell it. :(

Says the guy that goes apoplectic at the mention of a cold in a particular region at a particular altitude on a particular year.
