Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi.

Can someone name this arcade game similar to Cabal that fought Nazis. It scrolled along left/right. There may have been the word 'breaker' in title but I am not sure.

    Thanks in advance.

    Operation Wolf. Wolfenstien

Don't think those are it, but I know the game myself and can't for the life of me think of it.

Edit: Nam 1975 hopefully this is it

I never heard of Spinal Breakers, I'll give it a go later on MAME. I liked these types of game. Cabal was a good one and NAM-75 is a favorite of mine.

Another version of this kind of shooter that is worth mentioning is Blood Bros, its based on Cowboys and Indians in the wild west.

Love Blood brothers, especially the dance you do up the middle of the screen when you clear a level :pac:

Blood Bros is a fantastic way to waste an hour. I've played through it a couple of times and still go back. I remember the first time I played it in Salt Hill in Galway...that was before they turned everything into pokies :(

That dance was a bit mental... when they run up waterfalls etc! Programmers didn't think that one through.

Of all those that you mentioned, Blood Bros. is my favorite. It is thought to be the spiritual sequel to Cabal.

Cabal on the C64 was one of my favourite games. Lovely stuff. :)

Funnily enough, they are both made by the same company.
