Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When you travel it's up to you to know the customs and laws of any country you visit. In Thailand even crumpling up a bank note can get you in trouble as the king is on the note.

Like not taking chewing gum into Singapore, it's something you need to research before you travel.

Is she Thai? She looks Thai. She should have known better.

Damn, when we first travelled to Thailand when we were 23/24, even we knew about lese-majesty.

Other simple things; don't get into an argument, don't raise your voice, don't let the Thai lose face. You're on holiday, smile and walk away... you'll have forgotten about it in 5 mins.

Also, don't do drugs. I visit foreign inmates on death row (or seriously long sentences). I only get as far as the visitor centre in The Bangkok Hilton (Bangkwang Prison) and even that isin't nice.
