Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah but nominations and refusals are a better system than just waiting for volunteers. This way people will know others are interested in them and might feel more comfortable about joining in.
But we've already got months of people lined up and it's only been a few hours. To counter I'd say this is a way of forcing people who aren't comfortable with it to refuse, openly, in public. Some users like to blend into the background, that's their way, let the users who want the attention seek it and the others can continue to enjoy the forum

Nominations have to be accepted, otherwise no thread ... they're really only a "here, would ya?" as far as this is concerned.Nomination surely doesn't work when this is a voluntary process? If the person nominated wants no part in it then you'll just get three days of silence
