    Hi all,

    So the finalised team list is as follows!

    Think those are all correct... ?

    I have changed the league around slightly as there are only 12 teams rather than 14. Each player will play 22 rounds (i.e. - will play each other player twice). The playoffs will then be played over two weeks, weeks 23 and 24, between the top 4 seeds. 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd in the semi-finals. All other teams will be locked after week 22 to prevent unfair trading to the playoff teams.

    Also, I've increased the draft pick time to 90 seconds as 60 seconds is a bit short. We'll have extra time now that there are only 12 teams anyway.

    Is everyone ok with this?

    If everyone could copy and paste the below with a "YES" beside their preferred times for the draft, I will compile them and see what slot most people are available to make. If other times (late night, morning, afternoon...) suit people better, please let me know.

    Hey, my perference is for the draft to take place after the fantasy baseball season finishes on September 28th. I'll then need a day or 2 to prepare for the draft. So with that my available times are:

    Also for the playoffs we could have a consolation final series for teams 5th through 8th. That should keep interest for the majority of the league. Everything else looks good. Have you set a trade deadline for the league?

    Thanks Coeus. I have the option to run an 8 team playoff from Week 23 to 25 but it'd be in a 1x8, 2x7... format, rather than a top 4 and a consolation. I don't mind either way, what do you think?

    Trade deadline is 8th March.

    Yea, I was thinking earlier from the first few votes that Tuesday 4/10 was the most popular choice :-)

    As for the playoffs anyone else have thoughts how we should structure them if we have 8 teams qualifying?

    Oct 4th Tuesday suits but it has to start at 10 at earliest as I am always busy til 9:30 ish on a Tuesday!

    From what I can see on Yahoo, it isn't possible to do this for the NHL (see attachment). Unless that is the standard way they do it? It doesn't really give much more information than what the screenshot shows.
