Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Isn't that super another thread on the football forum is going to be infected by United vs Liverpool rivalry

Be great when Dortmund or Sevilla mill the winners in the round after

That's a huge draw for Spurs. It will be extremely tough, but I dont think that it is beyond them. This for me is the draw for the round but probably will get no airtime.:(

    Dortmund 3 - 0 Spurs
    Shaktar 3 - 1 Anderlecht

    Basel 0 - 0 Sevilla
    Fenerbahçe 1 - 0 Sporting Braga

    fabulous third goal

Weigl is a joy to watch, that pass in the move of the 3rd goal was magnificent. Dortmund's combinations to get behind an opponent rival any of Europe's top teams. Though it's against a weakened Spurs side, Dortmund are on another level to Spurs or anything in England. Tuchel has done a brilliant job.

Robbie Savage is so fúcking bitter about Spurs' selection despite last week on BBC saying that they should rest players and focus on the Premier League.

Robbie doesn't remember that. He just says things, there's no logic behind the things he says, he just says them, they drift up into the air and that's that, it's like nothing even happened.

Why are you so quick to write off Spurs?

I know it is only the 1st leg but does that score line give you that answer

Tbf they are playing Villa the weekend. Who are absolutely f**king desperate. Spurs still have the chance of the league but I'd have risked Kane, but Dortmund are a cut above despite it. Don't know how they can't win this tournament.

Well, thats England's coefficient fairly ballsed for this year anyway. Only one Prem side will be in the next round in each competition.

It was an odd decision because (though he's utterly dreadful) Savage had a point when he said their next 2 games are against Villa and Bournemouth at home. Strange to have gotten this far and not give it your best shot. That being said, Dortmund are right up there with the very best in Europe and would challenge any club side on the planet.

Liverpool/Utd going through adds half a point while Serie A only have one side left as well so they won't gain enough to make a difference.

Yeah, would have thought they'd all be really up for getting to face one of the best teams around. That's for football is all about, and it's not often you get that opportunity.

True, it's really a shame we aren't getting to see this Dortmund team in this season under Tuchel challenging in the Champions League. I suppose we will have to wait till next week.

Braga or Praha would be best. Dortmund the only major concern really.

Booked to go to Anfield to see Liverpool-Watford in May, so from a purely selfish point of view, thank god Pool drew Dortmund. Should see them knocked out and the Watford game not be moved!

If you did it after the match it may be considered funny. A couple of days later when there's nothing happening in the thread and you have been very active in the thread since then? Just odd.

It wasn't even your post. I'm sure Bret will take it on the chin and move on.

I don't think he meant any harm by it.

Not that I have to explain, I was in the pub for the game so could not do it, I posted yesterday during work the draws for champions league and Europa league quarter finals and results from Thursday with another post to say it was a good run for Liverpool .

Along with some posts in the Liverpool thread for some UEFA charges

Not going to spend to much time on boards when in work, not about last night as I was out again so hence the delay is that ok?

Not really this has been covered already a thousand times, England treat it like a glorified league cup
