Definitely, some people think Alright by red carpet is a bit cheesey, but i think its cool, it brings me back to last year in pacha, just close my eyes when that tunes playin out and im back there again!

This is the first part of the Housewerk series of mixes that I'm doing right now.... There'll be one or two more to go I think then that will be it!

This mix is all about the deepness with techy edges especially the first half.... The second half leads very nicely into the second volume of the second volume with some funkier yet still deep tunes rounding things off. Plenty of tracks on this mix that I played at the start of Jan during my intro slot @ Stereotonic for the trainspotting massives... (haha I can be one sometimes!)

As I uploaded part two first a while ago I'll include a link and tracklist to that mix for those interested below.

It’s been a very long time since I’ve actually done a mix, what with moving house a few times over the past few years and not having the time and of course….. being too lazy!! Actually, the last time I did a Mixtape it was actually a Mix “Tape”!!

Style wise I guess you’d call it Progressive House with a touch of Tech House.

There’s a few little mistakes mixing wise, but you’ll have to forgive that as it has been a long time and I was also getting used to a new Mixer (the oh so sweet Urei 1601S) . Plus it doesn’t help that my style of mixing is long tight mixes which can be unforgiving at the best of times. All music is from vinyl, I’m a real old schooler in that regard!

OK BazMo, I had a listen and I like it. Now I am not one to comment on mixing skills (because I can't really do it myself) but I like the tunes and the mixing overall.
