Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

crack in plaster over bricked up fireplace

We had a stove removed and the fireplace filled with granite blocks, then plastered over. This was about two weeks ago, maybe three.

I asked them to put an air brick in but they insisted that was a bad idea. They were supposed to cover chimney with a cowl but haven't yet and there has been heavy rain. I think they stuffed some rockwool into the old flue from the stove.

Today there is a crack along where the top of the fireplace was. What would have caused this?
