Deliveroo and Aldi in Dublin 3 and Dublin 6 for now

Choose from 140 Aldi products through the Deliveroo app.
These will be picked and packed by Aldi staff and will be delivered via Deliveroo's network riders in as little as 30 minutes.

Handy for some but not seeing the bargain. Also the products theyre selling for delivery cost more than they do in store.

Thanks for the heads-up ... pity it's such a limited range of products.
I understand charging a delivery fee - but then also charging higher prices for the products themselves is a bit much.

Can only be making huge loses charging €5 for this with time involved in getting the stock and delivering.

Just look at the success that Buymie and Lidl have in their partnership so this could work.

During the Hight of the stay at home you could not get Buymie slots for days.

Interesting that they're doing that, I suppose it is demand led so they have to react or else lose market share. Though if people are collecting shopping from the car park they never go inside to see whats in the middle aisles so they'll be losing out on those impulse purchases instead.
