Current Conditions December 2013

Very windy here in North Tipperary : temperature feels mild and according to my car it is 6 degrees celsius now.
No rain to speak of but there were some light rain showers earlier.

The current weather conditions remind me of the same weather conditions 18th - 25th December 1998.
Back then we experienced the same conditions that we're experiencing now.

70 Knots gust reported Belmullet at 20:00. That's 130 kph!
Wonder if there will be a report at 21:00??

Highest wind speed today so far recorded is 61.9kmph. Might need to move my anemometer because it seemed much stronger than that!

Snowing on and off since 7 am this morning. There was a nice dusting on the ground by 9 pm. The showers have turned sleety now, though.
