Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

O'Neill and O'Donnell fled to Rome via Belgium, Western Germany, Switzerland and over the Alps. They travelled in Germany and Switzerland through places they deemed unfriendly (Protestant) and lost most of their gold crossing the Alps.
Question: Why didn't they travel through France avoiding hostility and the Alps?

Were they following a route similar to the Spanish Road perhaps? It sounds like it
