Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cycling The Coastline

Hopefully next year, I plan on Cycling the coastline for charity.

I have been cycling for about 2 years now pretty regularly, I might clock 100-150k per week but i have done the odd long distance.

My bike is a pretty knackered Mountain bike. I cycle usually in the country side but i have had it for four years and I reckon it served me well without giving me too much bother.

I looked into various biking websites and shops to see if I could replace it with a decent bike that might last me a good while. I'm pretty bamboozled by all the specs on these bikes. I only have a reasonably fair Idea how to tell one good bike from another. So If people could give me tips on that i would be GRATEFUL :P

Also has anybody else done a trek on this sort of scale. Can people give me an idea of which route i should take and what not. How did you deal with say cramps in the saddle or anything like that.

    Much Appreciated :)
