Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

So your point is that the temperature does rise and fall due to the Earth's rotation? But sure everyone knows that!

Listen here, when a child or student asks why the temperature rises and falls daily you make sure you tell them that it is the rotation of the Earth that causes it with the additional information of 1461 rotations in 1461 days/4 years. It means you have moved above the ignorance on par with a flat Earther or those who believe 1465 rotations for 1461 days because there is only one fact possible.

To be treated like this by my own people is unconscionable but as long as the basic planetary facts are restored then it will be worth it.

Ok, I think this thread has run its course. You have obvious underlying issues or beliefs that have little to do with meteorology or astronomy, and for that reason I'm closing the thread.
