Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

We're looking for a home tutor who can teach our 6 year old child 20 hours per week, on the home tuition scheme. Our son has a mild intellectual disability, as well as sensory processing disorder and auditory processing disorder, and an accompanying speech and language delay (mostly uses 1, 2 and 3 word phrases at present, but is progressive in receptive and expressive language skills), so some experience with or understanding of children with these kinds of needs would be greatly benefitial. If anybody can make a referal, or advise us .

    Many Thanks,

You could contact Waterford Teacher's Centre and ask them if they could put the word out or advise of anyone they know. Is there any schools nearby with an ASD unit/special school? They may have a list of subs they use.
You could try sending a PM to the Voice for Teachers Facebook page, they might do a post for you.

You can also post a job advertisement on the Home Tutors for those on the Autistic Spectrum Ireland Facebook page.
