Rain on the horizon according to Bbc weather radar online tonight .

Wont be bitterly cold as other nights previous

Torrential downpour for the last hour or so in Caslebar. Surprised I didn't hear any thunder.

Edit: this wasn't forcast, at least not this bad.

That's the most persistent rain we've had in Trim this year I think. Back garden drains maxed out with the water moving up towards the house. I lifted a couple of the access covers to let the water fall in that way.
