Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just had the car in for an nct and it failed

Description: Anti roll bar bushes and links
    Reason: Dust Covers missing/serverly deteriorated

What do I need to get replace and what would the cost be?

As suggested in the NCT report anti roll bar bushes and drop links. Prices vary of course. FWIW mine came to around 80 quid for the original Honda parts(third party would have been about 50 quid), but I replaced them myself so don't know what the labour costs would be. Pretty easy job(well if I can do it...) that took under an hour on my driveway, so I can't imagine the costs would be too much. IIRC those exhaust fitting places do it?

That's them. I've replaced both the front and back ones on my jalopy. I seem to recall the backs being more of a pig to do.

Brilliant thank you. I picked up 2 for both sides for €30 in motor factors

Yep but I would get a mechanic to replace them. Can run into bother if the nuts start spinning. Can be a 10 minute job or a 1 hour job.

Have a mechanic dropping out on Friday to fit them. Thank you for your help 😊😊😊
