    I have a question for a friend of mine
    I know Rev can stop you for tax etc
    But are they entitled to Dip your tank

    Said friend did a bit of work on his fuel lines and is running on 80% veggie oil

    Now as the car is NI Registered and based the issue would be custums from the North
    The car is only kept overnight though and is from morning to late in the republic.

    The chance to encounter customs/revenue us much higher in the republic than up North

    As the car is legally registered and and kept up north...I am wondering

    Can customs "dip" a foreign vehicle NU UK Polish German etc
