Cooker hood vented thru roof?

Advice please on cooler extraction hood. We have hob on inside wall, is it ok to run extraction through the roof, 30* pitch, natural slates, have read that there could be condensation issues???

if the duct is fully insulated in the attic space then its less of an issue.
Will the hood have a backdraft flap?
