Swapped one speaker but volume low - normal?

I'm changing my stock 20/40w speakers for JBL Stage 2 604C's 270w, and just tried by temporarily changing one today. However, the sound level from the new speaker was far lower than the existing stock crap. Would the sound level be more normal once all 4 speakers are swapped over ? Both sets are 4ohms
