    The recession might be over but I’m not exactly weighed down with loads of extra cash so for Christmas I again have to seek out every special offer going. That said I would like to keep my Black Friday spending local. If anyone knows of shops in Sligo that do particularly good BF offers, and those who start their sale earlier than Friday, please post.

    Most shops start their sale in the week leading up to Black Friday, so most have started.

    Just a few I've noticed over last few days include:

    - Argos
    - Currys/PC World
    - EZLiving
    - Castle Davitt Furniture
    - Halfords etc.
