Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I downloaded their "rate card" but its in double dutch and explains nothing.

How much is it for a 20 second ad, say during the break of the 6:01 news (probably most expensive)

Anyone any idea or have experience dealing with advertising on rte 1/2?

This site gives a breakdown, but it's from 2013 so probably changed a bit. Depends on the time, as you said, and it's worked out via 'Cost per spot', which varies depending on the time. In the article, the example given was "If you want your ad to be seen a million times, and the CPS is €5.50, the total cost is €5500", but also noted that an average 30-second ad during prime time at weekends is about €5k.

    Excellent thanks

I thought it'd be mad money - actually probably one of the cheapest ways to advertise nationally.

And newspapers are wondering why they're not going to last, and then tell us how much it costs to advertise on there: https://www.irishtimes.com/about-us/advertise/rate-card (€26k for a full page in 1 print).
