Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Do you have access to the map files, shim? You could delete the offending chunks if you do, they would regenerate without the slime.

    Doesn't work that way with Realms unfortunately. If you've got a small map (< 500MB) you can download it, hit it up with world Edit or something to remove the problem and then re-upload it, but it doesn't allow you to upload anything over 500MB.

    I can certainly give that a go, it didn't look like I could earlier, but it seems to be an option now.

    The thing was at -126 X 63 X -265, send me a PM when you're online and wanna give it a go.

    Are those coordinates exact? I'm there with render distance on minimum but I don't see it. I probably shouldn't increase the render distance...

    Is it in the sky maybe?

    So when I put my render distance to 6 things get a little buggy in the distance. When I go past 6 everything gets extremely buggy and looks like the 1.8 beta, where the landscape flashes different arrangements as you turn your head.

    Still no sign of the slime thing.

    I guess you have to roll it back :I

    I can't even log in to get the exact co-ords, let me try the render/draw distance.

    Nope - everything turned to minimum and I still crash to desktop on world load.

    I'm at -126, 63 -265 now, and there's a soil pillar going straight up, no more. I'll take that down ...

    edit: the pillar just Pompus going up for a look. Area is completely empty, can't see anything odd, except for one "hole" in the swamp. Render distance is 7.

    I may have the wrong co-ordinates, but basically it was in the swamps beyond DarkGlasses place. Where exactly I don't know because without Rei's Minimap, I always get completely lost in a Minecraft world.

    Updated my client to 1.8.1 and all is well. Thanks to Shim, Darkglasses and Maillart for helping to prevent the rollback.

    I borrowed my brother's dongle so I have wireless, now I just need to find my wireless adapter for the PC. So I'm also a maybe, pending the results of my search.

    I'm not the only one he robbed, judging by the stuff he had on him when I killed him. From me he took 46 diamonds, 28 iron, 3 wither skellie skulls, some enchanted picks... idk I think that's it. Hard to tell. He's gone now anyway, he logged off as soon as I killed him.

    Haha no, I'm wearing that set of armour. It's my ocean monument armour, I've been there all week. I don't really mind the disorganisation, it looks pretty cool with multicoloured sheep everywhere. I'm just hoping this can be rolled back to replace everyone's items and fix whatever other damage he might have done.

    I went back on today, and managed to get it set up and discovered the above, so I switched it to a gravity drop, which does work, but it'll probably get rolled back along with everything else. It's cool, though, it's just a couple of sticky pistons hooked up to a lever, so I can set it up again quickly.

    Scratch the above request - we discovered that FTB Lite 2 works great on his older laptop, and so I've just set up my own server instead!

    Use the portal at pomps house beacon or the rail track just beside the main nether hub (in the nether)

    Just a couple things about the farm:

    Depending on your computing power, only leave it running for 2-5 mins. (5 mins is the max before you start to lag the server).

    Bring a splash potion of poison* if you want to farm the guardians. I'm all out atm.

    The whole water system is operated by a single button. Try not to double-tap the button. This will cause some pretty bad problems.

    Haha poor toaster. You won't know how your computer will handle it until after you turn the machine off and go into the nether to the collection point. Just a heads-up :)
