    currently syncing a few late cows, and following the below protocol, if the cow comes into heat prior to the second GnRH shot on day 9 do you bull them am/pm rule or continue with protocol?


    Saturday Day 0 (AM) CIDR Insert & GnRH Injection
    Sunday Day 1
    Monday Day 2
    Tuesday Day 3
    WednesdayDay 4
    Thursday Day 5
    Friday Day 6
    Saturday Day 7 (AM) PG Injection
    Sunday Day 8 (AM) PG Injection & Remove CIDR
    Monday Day 9 (PM) GnRH Injection
    Tuesday Day 10 (AM) AI

    Should you be giving a second PG injection on day 8 after giving it on day 7?

    Seems to be the advice at the moment, it used to be 1 shot the day before CIDR removal and same day for heifers but been tweaked it seems for better conception rates
