Quick query - getting conflicting info from various people wrt use of plywood or OSB in a timber flat roof build-up.

Build-up is - PVC membrane to 160mm insulation on VCL to 18mm Ply / OSB

had assumed Marine Ply would do the job but potential roofer has said OSB Grade 3 is the way to go.

Our engineer is siding with ply

    Thoughts?

    As an engineer, IMO
OSB 3 or 4 is fine, as long as you know its 3 or 4.
whatever about WBP, MP is over kill, especially on your wallet
in passing most ply now is sh!t so OSB 3 or 4 is a better product.

very true about the plywood. Recommend OSB aswell but don't let it get wet.
